BIGHORN BAM PRESENTS ITS 10th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH A NIGHT OF MIRACLES FUNDRAISER ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25

PALM DESERT, CA – (February 16, 2017) – BIGHORN Behind A Miracle (BAM) is excited to celebrate its 10th anniversary with A Night of Miracles gala, to be held Saturday, February 25 at BIGHORN.

BAM’s focus of “100,000 lives changed, millions of miracle created” encapsulates the passion and their 10-year results of focusing their mission to support local cancer patients. Attendees will be treated to Citrus College’s Blue Note Orchestra, cocktails, wine pull and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, live auction and a paddle up at 7 p.m. The Nightshift band will take guests into dancing the night away.

“We are so proud to be in our 10th year of supporting Coachella Valley cancer patients and assisting those organizations which are dedicated to helping those fighting cancer,” said BIGHORN BAM founder and cancer survivor Selby Dunham. “Because of our donor’s generosity, lives will be saved; because they care, cancer survivors will live longer and because of their compassion, cancer patients that need financial support will have it.”

BIGHORN BAM fundraising efforts benefit not only the 30,000 annual patients who visit the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center, but also The Pendleton Foundation — a non-profit organization helping cancer patients with rent or utilities, purchase grocery cards and other ways to ease the financial burden of hundreds of households.

“Together we can transform another 100,000 lives through purchasing state-of-the-art cancer fighting equipment, providing BAM Van transportation for patients to and from treatment, and assist in paying household bills through The Pendleton Foundation, so those fighting this disease can focus on getting well,” said Dunham. “Donations this year will also support a Koning Breast CT that produces high contrast, real 3D images, 3 supersonic ultrasound machines and Mammorisk software, which all assist in early detection and
diagnostics.”

BIGHORN BAM was created a decade ago by a group of women supporting a friend, Selby Dunham, through her breast cancer. Inspired to save the lives of Coachella Valley cancer patients, in the past decade, BIGHORN BAM has raised more than $6.5 million, supports 300 cancer affected families annually, and has helped Eisenhower purchase their first Truebeam STX Linear Accelerator, the most advanced radiation equipment available.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Tickets to A Night of Miracles are $250 per person. To purchase tickets and for more information, call (760) 610-8218, email Danielle@bighorngolf.com or visit www.bighornbam.net.
